Chris is currently Managing Director & Co-Founder of Panorama Capital, Chairman of the Board at Ninth Decimal, an investor in DocuSign, Pinterest, Turo, Stance, 33Across, and an Angel investor in Uberflip, People.AI, and 4 stealth companies.
Exits included: DocuSign (IPO NASDQ: DOCU), Ticketfly (acquired by NASDQ: Pandora), Elemental Technology (Acquired by NASDAQ: Amazon), Good Technology (Acquired by NASDQ: Blackberry), PasswordBox (Acquired by NASDQ: INTL).
Previously, Chris was a General Partner at JP Morgan Partners ($6.5B private equity firm). General Partner & Founder of Founders Circle Capital ($412M AUM secondary fund). Chris also helped grow four startups, most recently as Chief Strategy Officer for Digital Island (NASDAQ: ISLD; acquired by Cable & Wireless in 2001).
Paul Heydon has spent 28 years as a Founder, operator, investor, and advisor. BGF is Paul’s 6th startup. Most recently he was a Co-Founder and General Partner at LVP. Paul was an early investor in Supercell and Unity. He also led investments on behalf of LVP in Reach Robotics, AppOnboard, Gawkbox, Downstream, Shark Punch, Dojo Madness and Radiant Entertainment (acquired by Riot Games). Previously, he was an investment banker at Avista Partners, Commerzbank Securities & ING Barings. He has both a HBA & MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at University of Western Ontario in Canada.
Nick Harrison joins BreakawayGrowth from Ottawa, Canada. Most recently, he led channel sales and international growth strategy at Toronto-based Turnstyle Solutions (acquired by NYSE: YELP), a Wi-Fi proximity marketing company.
Nick has worked as a consultant on projects ranging from new market expansions for multiple CPG companies to marketing and operations strategy for a sales recruiting firm. He also founded and ran an independent theatre company called Trivial Theatre as Artistic Director, after ten years as an actor and performer.
While earning an HBA degree at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Nick worked as a researcher for Chris at Founders Circle Capital ($412M AUM secondary fund) for investments like Ticketfly (acquired by NASDQ: PNDORA) and Good Technology (acquired by NYSE: BB).
Robert Elensky is focused on the fintech, insurtech and machine learning/AI companies for BreakawayGrowth Fund. Robert is also an active COO for Senso.AI, and is based in Toronto.
Prior to Breakaway, Robert held CEO and Chairman positions in both public and private companies across 5 continents. His deep expertise was gained through senior operating roles, consulting engagements, investments, joint ventures, acquisitions and the creation of fintech companies. Robert has successfully completed consulting engagements for industry, corporate and government leaders in emerging and developed countries. He is an optimist who always strives to bring out the best in people of all levels, cultures and backgrounds.
Robert graduated with an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a BA Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
